Safety First, Fun Always!

At Squiddles Swim School, we are committed to providing tailored swim instruction for children and adults with special needs. Our approach is designed to create a positive, comfortable, and supportive learning environment that caters to each individual's unique needs. We proudly offer swimming lessons for a wide range of conditions, including Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, Sensory Disorders, and Developmental Delays.

Our program is built on the foundation of individualized attention and adaptive teaching techniques to help your child or loved one feel confident and empowered in the water. We focus on providing the same essential swimming and survival skills as our general lessons, but we do so in a way that is sensitive to the sensory, emotional, and physical needs of the students we serve.

  • A Calm, Supportive Environment

We recommend selecting morning, mid-morning, or early afternoon time slots for your special needs swim lessons. These times tend to be quieter at our facility, offering a calm and less distracting environment for your swimmer. This peaceful atmosphere allows for better focus and progress, ensuring your child or loved one can fully benefit from their lessons.

  • Our Adaptive Approach

We use a variety of proven techniques to accommodate the unique challenges faced by our special needs students. Our instructors are trained in adaptive swim instruction, including specific strategies to address sensory sensitivities and help students overcome any fear or anxiety they may have around water.

  • Personalized for Every Swimmer

Each lesson is personalized to meet the individual’s developmental level and emotional comfort. We believe in building trust, progressing at a comfortable pace, and celebrating every milestone along the way—no matter how big or small.
